Dodgy Panel Warning - ZEN Response

ZEN has been warning the Industry and Government at Local, State and Federal levels for years now about the issues of Dodgy panels, poorly trained installers and a lack of industry auditing and the long term industry ramifications.

 

ZEN have developed standards of installation way above the industry standards and is one of the few companies that have a continual internal auditing process. We have designed our own DC Cabling systems and Mounting Systems to our own standards and specifications as we were not satisfied with standard product available on the market. All ZEN Installers are trained at the ZEN Solar Academy in Norwood, Adelaide.

 

To this end ZEN is the preferred System Providor for many of South Australia's, Victoria's and New South Wales' Local Governments and have had significant Due Diligence done to achieve this status. ZEN has also been audited by the Clean Energy Council a number of times and always received a high commendation or recommendation for awards.

 

The ZEN panels are approved by the Clean Energy Council of Australia and meet and exceed both the Australian Standards - AS61215 Ed2  and AS61730 plus international TUV, CE and UL certifications. The ZEN panels continually overperform beyond our advertised specifications. From the inception of our business, ZEN has always maintained the highest of quality standards. Be very aware of cheap offers from companies that do "Google Earth" type inspections as only half the job is actually done putting your safety at risk. If they can't be bothered inspecting your electrical systems before the installation they certainly won't be back afterwards.

 

ZEN conduct a free home inspection with every client surveying both structural and electrical integrity and potential shading issues before installation and will advise if work needs to be undertaken prior to installation to bring the home up to current Australian Standards. ZEN will not install a system unless we are satisifed the system will be safe and work to it's peak performance. We also undertake to audit a significant number of our systems after installation.
