The next step in turning your home into a ZEN Home is to produce even more free Solar Hot Water with a second collector and storage tank and run this water through your slab in what is known as Hydronic Underfloor Heating.

Once you create your own power and harvest your own water you can produce free solar hot water and then use this to heat you home. Hydronic underfloor heating is one of the most comfortable heating technologies available. A manifold is installed to control the flow of water to different rooms and is electronically controlled like a Ducted Air-Conditioning System. When a new home is built special coils are laid within the slab and connected to the manifold.
